Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is a major theme park and zoo spanning 335 acres with world-class roller coasters alongside one of the largest zoological collections in North America. The park houses over 12,000 animals from every continent in immersive African-themed habitats.

The 65-acre Serengeti Plain is one of the largest open-air habitats in North American zoos, where herds of giraffes, zebras, antelope, and rhinos roam freely in a landscape modeled after the East African savanna. Guests can view the animals from a skyride, train, or guided safari vehicle.

Busch Gardens is AZA accredited through March 2027 and participates in dozens of Species Survival Plans. The park’s conservation programs support field projects across Africa and Asia.
