Penguin Exhibit

The Penguin exhibit houses African penguins in a climate-controlled habitat that recreates the rocky shores of the South African coast. Guests can watch penguins swim, dive, and waddle through both above-water and underwater viewing windows.

African penguins have declined by over 95% since the early 1900s and are classified as endangered. Busch Gardens supports penguin conservation through breeding programs and field research in South Africa.
