African Loop

The African Loop is a walking trail through recreated African savanna and bushveld environments, home to African lions, spotted hyenas, giraffes, and diverse antelope species in spacious, naturalistic exhibits.

Giraffes are the world's tallest living terrestrial animals, capable of reaching vegetation up to 18 feet off the ground. Despite their iconic status, giraffe populations have declined by 40% over the past 30 years.
