Marineland

Marineland, founded in 1938 as Marine Studios, is one of the oldest marine mammal parks in the world. Located along Florida’s historic A1A coastal highway near St. Augustine, it is now focused on dolphin experiences and marine education in a beautifully restored oceanfront setting.

Originally designed as an underwater film studio, Marineland was the world’s first oceanarium and pioneered techniques for maintaining marine mammals in human care that are still used today. The facility now offers intimate dolphin encounters and educational programs in a small-group format.

Marineland is AZA accredited through March 2027 and operates the Marineland Dolphin Conservation Center, focusing on dolphin research, education, and welfare.
