Iguana Land

Iguana Land is a unique zoological facility in Punta Gorda specializing in reptiles, with one of the largest collections of iguanas and reptiles in the country. Educational tours highlight reptile conservation, biology, and the ecological roles these often-misunderstood animals play in their native habitats.

The facility houses dozens of iguana species from the Caribbean, Central America, and South America, alongside tortoises, monitors, and other exotic reptiles. Many of the species in the collection are threatened in the wild by habitat loss and the invasive species trade.

Iguana Land is ZAA accredited and serves as both a conservation breeding facility and educational resource for reptile appreciation.
