Turtle Bayou

Turtle Bayou houses CMA's sea turtle rehabilitation patients in a series of treatment pools and recovery tanks. Visitors can observe turtles at various stages of recovery from boat strikes, entanglement, and cold-stunning events that affect Florida's sea turtle population.

CMA has rescued and rehabilitated thousands of sea turtles since its founding, with the goal of returning every animal to the wild. The exhibit educates guests about sea turtle biology and the human activities that threaten these ancient reptiles.
