Big Cat Territory

Big Cat Territory houses Amur tigers, African lions, and snow leopards in spacious naturalistic habitats. Multi-level rockwork, pools, and elevated platforms provide enrichment for these powerful predators while giving guests dramatic close-up viewing opportunities.

All three big cat species in this exhibit are threatened by poaching and habitat loss. San Francisco Zoo contributes to field conservation programs in Russia, Tanzania, and the Himalayas.
