Educational Information
Dolphin Cove features Atlantic bottlenose dolphins in a large saltwater pool where guests can participate in swim encounters, training sessions, and educational presentations. The park's famous wolphin — a hybrid of a false killer whale and bottlenose dolphin — has been a resident since 1985.
Hybridization between cetacean species is extremely rare in the wild, making the wolphin a subject of significant scientific interest. Dolphin Cove educates visitors about dolphin biology, cetacean diversity, and marine conservation.
