Monk Seal Care Center

The Monk Seal Care Center provides a home for Hawaiian monk seals that cannot be returned to the wild. With fewer than 1,400 individuals remaining, the Hawaiian monk seal is one of the most endangered marine mammals in the world.

Hawaiian monk seals face threats from habitat loss, entanglement in marine debris, and food scarcity. Sea Life Park's monk seal program educates visitors about this critically endangered species found nowhere else on Earth.
