Educational Information

The African Safari section features giraffes, white rhinos, zebras, and ostriches in large open-air enclosures that visitors explore via safari tram. The giraffe feeding station allows guests to hand-feed these gentle giants at eye level.

White rhinos were nearly driven to extinction in the early 20th century but have recovered through intensive conservation breeding. Today, poaching for rhino horn remains the greatest threat to their survival. Wildlife World Zoo educates visitors about anti-poaching efforts and rhino conservation.
