Commerson’s Dolphin Habitat

The Commerson's Dolphin Habitat features these striking black-and-white dolphins in a clear-water pool visible through an underwater viewing window next to the Dolphin Plunge water slide. Guests riding the slide pass through a transparent tube surrounded by swimming dolphins — a one-of-a-kind experience.

Commerson's dolphins are among the smallest dolphin species, found in the cold coastal waters of South America and around the Falkland Islands. Aquatica Orlando is one of only a few facilities in the world to house these charismatic cetaceans, providing valuable data on their biology and care.
