Downtown Aquarium Denver

Downtown Aquarium Denver is a 150,000-square-foot aquarium and entertainment complex located on the banks of the South Platte River. The facility houses over 500 species of animals in themed exhibits that transport visitors from North American rivers to tropical rainforests, coral reefs, and the deep ocean.

Owned and operated by Landry’s Inc., the Downtown Aquarium combines marine exhibits with a full-service restaurant where diners eat surrounded by a 150,000-gallon aquarium tank. Interactive exhibits include a stingray touch pool, mermaid shows, and behind-the-scenes animal encounters.

Downtown Aquarium Denver holds American Humane Certified status for its animal care programs.
