The Tropical Reef exhibit features clownfish, tangs, angelfish, and other colorful reef species in tanks that recreate Indo-Pacific and Caribbean reef environments. Visitors can observe the symbiotic relationships between clownfish and sea anemones up close.
Coral reefs are sometimes called the cities of the sea for the incredible diversity of life they support. The exhibit introduces visitors to reef ecology and the importance of protecting these fragile underwater ecosystems from climate change and pollution.
