Wild Reef

Wild Reef recreates a Philippine coral reef ecosystem with living corals, sharks, stingrays, and thousands of tropical fish in a series of interconnected habitats. The exhibit's centerpiece is a floor-to-ceiling window providing a panoramic view into a massive shark habitat with sandbar sharks, zebra sharks, and cownose rays.

The Philippines sits within the Coral Triangle — the epicenter of global marine biodiversity. Wild Reef educates visitors about this critically important region and the threats it faces from dynamite fishing, cyanide poisoning, and climate change.
