Living Treehouse

The Living Treehouse is an immersive primate exhibit featuring ring-tailed lemurs, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and Schmidt's red-tailed monkeys in a multi-level canopy habitat. Visitors walk through elevated platforms and rope bridges that bring them eye-to-eye with these agile primates.

Madagascar's lemurs are among the most endangered primates on Earth, with over 90% of species threatened with extinction due to deforestation and hunting. Zoo Atlanta supports lemur conservation through the AZA Species Survival Plan and partnerships with Malagasy conservation organizations.
