Hugh Kaul Bamboo Trail

The Hugh Kaul Bamboo Trail is a nature boardwalk winding through native Alabama forest and bamboo groves within the zoo grounds. Interpretive stations along the trail identify native trees, wildflowers, and birds while highlighting the biodiversity of Alabama's forests — among the richest temperate ecosystems in North America.
