Reptile House

The Reptile House showcases native and exotic reptiles in climate-controlled habitats, including American alligators, snakes, lizards, and tortoises. The exhibit places special emphasis on the reptiles of the Gulf Coast region, helping visitors understand and appreciate the animals that share their environment.

The Gulf Coast is home to a rich diversity of reptiles, from the iconic American alligator to six species of sea turtles that nest on Alabama's beaches. The Reptile House educates visitors about coexisting safely with native reptiles and the important ecological roles these animals play.
