Greensboro Science Center

Greensboro Science Center is a unique facility combining a zoo, aquarium, and science museum under one roof, along with an OmniSphere Theater. The center’s focus on STEM education sets it apart from traditional zoos, integrating live animal exhibits with interactive science displays that explore the connections between technology, nature, and discovery.

The SciQuarium features sharks, penguins, and marine life, while the Animal Discovery area houses tigers, meerkats, red pandas, and other exotic species. The combined approach allows visitors to explore biology, ecology, and conservation through both living animals and hands-on science exhibits.

Greensboro Science Center holds AZA accreditation and serves as the Piedmont Triad region’s premier science and wildlife education institution.
