Reptile House

The Reptile House showcases Komodo dragons, rattlesnakes, Gila monsters, and a diverse collection of reptiles and amphibians from around the world. The exhibit highlights both exotic species and native Southwest reptiles that visitors might encounter in the surrounding desert landscape.

Komodo dragons are the largest living lizards, found only on a handful of Indonesian islands. They are classified as Endangered due to habitat loss and climate change. ABQ BioPark's Komodo dragon exhibit helps visitors appreciate these formidable predators and the conservation challenges they face.
