Aquarium of Niagara is a marine and freshwater aquarium located just blocks from the famous Niagara Falls in western New York. The facility focuses on aquatic life of the Great Lakes and beyond, featuring sea lions, penguins, sharks, and a variety of rescued marine animals.
Originally opened in 1965 as the Niagara Falls Aquarium, the facility has undergone significant renovations and rebranding. Its Humboldt penguin colony is one of the largest in the Northeast, and the sea lion exhibit draws visitors from across the region.
The Aquarium of Niagara holds AMMPA accreditation and is committed to aquatic conservation and education in the Niagara Falls community.
