Expedition Africa

Expedition Africa spans multiple acres of savanna and bushveld habitat, home to giraffes, white rhinos, zebras, and ostriches. The exhibit features a unique kayak experience where visitors paddle through waterways alongside African wildlife.

White rhinos have been brought back from the brink of extinction through intensive conservation efforts, growing from fewer than 50 individuals to over 16,000 today. Brevard Zoo supports rhino conservation through the AZA Species Survival Plan.
