Edge of Africa is a walking safari through recreated African village and wilderness settings, offering close-up views of lions, hippos, hyenas, meerkats, and vultures. Glass viewing panels allow guests to come within inches of apex predators.

African hippos are the third-largest land mammals and are classified as vulnerable due to habitat loss and poaching for their ivory tusks and meat.
