Educational Information
The Serengeti Plain is a 65-acre free-roaming African savanna where herds of giraffes, zebras, ostriches, and antelope graze in an open landscape. Guests can tour the plains via the Serengeti Railway, Skyride cable car, or guided Serengeti Safari trucks for close encounters.
This exhibit is one of the largest open-air animal habitats in North American zoos, providing animals with space for natural herd dynamics and social behavior.
