Chimpanzee Trail

The Chimpanzee Trail follows a troop of common chimpanzees through a multi-acre forested habitat with climbing structures, natural browse, and enrichment activities designed to stimulate their exceptional intelligence and complex social lives.

Chimpanzees share approximately 98.7% of their DNA with humans. Wild populations have declined precipitously due to habitat loss, hunting, and the illegal pet trade across Central and West Africa.
