Clearwater Marine Aquarium

Clearwater Marine Aquarium is a marine rescue center and aquarium on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Famous worldwide as the home of Winter the dolphin — star of the Dolphin Tale films — the facility focuses on rescue, rehabilitation, and release of injured marine animals rather than traditional aquarium entertainment.

The aquarium underwent a massive expansion in 2020, more than doubling its size with new dolphin habitats, shark exhibits, and a rooftop observation deck overlooking Clearwater Harbor. CMA has rescued thousands of sea turtles, dolphins, and other marine animals since its founding.

Clearwater Marine Aquarium holds AMMPA accreditation and serves as a model for rescue-focused marine facilities worldwide.
