Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is a 580-acre world-class facility in Powell, Ohio, home to more than 10,000 animals representing over 800 species. Made famous by legendary director Jack Hanna, the zoo is consistently ranked among the best in North America and is a leader in wildlife conservation.

The zoo’s diverse collection includes manatees (one of only a handful of facilities outside Florida to house them), polar bears, gorillas, cheetahs, and a comprehensive aquarium. The Shores & Aquarium complex features a 100,000-gallon coral reef tank and bonnethead shark touch pool.

Columbus Zoo holds both AZA and AMMPA accreditation and supports conservation programs on six continents.
