Lacerte Family Children’s Zoo

The Lacerte Family Children's Zoo is a dedicated exploration zone for young visitors. Interactive exhibits allow children to get up close with domestic animals, prairie dogs, meerkats, and other approachable species while learning about animal behavior and habitat conservation.

Children who connect with animals and nature at an early age are more likely to grow up as conservation advocates. Dallas Zoo's education programs reach more than 100,000 students each year throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
