Ocean Voyager

Ocean Voyager is the aquarium's centerpiece — a 6.3-million-gallon exhibit that houses whale sharks, manta rays, and thousands of tropical fish. A 100-foot acrylic tunnel allows visitors to walk beneath these magnificent creatures, while a massive viewing window provides a panoramic ocean vista.

Whale sharks are the largest fish in the world, growing up to 40 feet long. Despite their enormous size, they are gentle filter feeders. Georgia Aquarium's whale shark research program has contributed groundbreaking data on their biology, behavior, and conservation needs.
