Greenville Zoo is a compact 14-acre zoo in Cleveland Park in the heart of downtown Greenville, South Carolina. Despite its modest size, the zoo is home to one of the largest giraffe herds in the Southeast and offers an intimate, walkable experience that focuses on conservation education and community engagement.
The zoo features African and Asian species including giraffes, lions, orangutans, and primates in well-designed exhibits that maximize animal welfare within the park’s urban setting. The African Overlook provides elevated views of the giraffe herd, and the Primate Building houses orangutans and other primates in enriched indoor and outdoor habitats.
Greenville Zoo holds AZA accreditation and serves as an accessible urban wildlife experience for the rapidly growing Upstate South Carolina region.
