Gorilla Exhibit

The Gorilla Exhibit houses Western Lowland Gorillas in indoor and outdoor habitats with climbing structures and enrichment activities. Gulf Breeze Zoo provides one of the few opportunities to see great apes in the Florida Panhandle region.

Western Lowland Gorillas are critically endangered due to poaching, disease, and habitat destruction in Central Africa. Every individual in accredited zoos contributes to the genetic diversity of the managed population.
