Sea Lion Splash features a 57,000-gallon saltwater pool where California sea lions perform natural behaviors and interact with trainers during daily enrichment sessions. Glass-walled viewing areas allow guests to observe sea lions both above and below the waterline.
California sea lions are highly intelligent and social marine mammals. While currently of least concern, they face increasing threats from ocean pollution, fishing gear entanglement, and reduced fish populations.
