Teton Trek

Teton Trek recreates the landscapes of the American Northwest, featuring grizzly bears, elk, and trumpeter swans in expansive naturalistic habitats. The exhibit's centerpiece is a massive viewing window into the grizzly bear habitat where visitors can watch these powerful animals fish, forage, and play.

Grizzly bears once ranged across western North America but were hunted and displaced until only isolated populations remained. Conservation efforts including habitat protection and reintroduction programs have helped stabilize some populations, particularly in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
