Dolphin Terrace

Dolphin Terrace features Atlantic bottlenose dolphins in a spacious outdoor saltwater habitat with stadium seating and interactive encounter programs. The exhibit provides educational presentations about dolphin biology, echolocation, and the marine ecology of the Gulf of Mexico.

The Gulf of Mexico is home to a large resident population of bottlenose dolphins. Mississippi Aquarium educates visitors about the threats dolphins face from pollution, boat traffic, and the ongoing effects of oil spills on Gulf marine life.
