Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens is a historic 43-acre zoo set within the Caribbean Gardens, originally established as a tropical garden in 1919. The zoo features a unique boat ride through islands of primates and a strong focus on endangered species conservation, participating in over 40 Species Survival Plans.

The zoo is one of the few facilities in the world to exhibit the fosa, Madagascar’s largest predator, and is home to Florida panthers, African lions, giraffes, and red pandas. The Primate Expedition Cruise — a narrated boat tour past islands inhabited by primates — is a signature experience found nowhere else.

Naples Zoo is AZA accredited through March 2028 and is deeply involved in conservation programs for Madagascar’s endangered wildlife and Florida’s native species.
