The Primate Expedition Cruise is Naples Zoo's signature experience — a narrated boat ride past islands inhabited by spider monkeys, gibbons, lemurs, and other primates living in free-ranging island groups surrounded by the historic Caribbean Gardens lakes.
Many primate species are endangered due to deforestation and the illegal pet trade. The cruise format provides primates with spacious natural island habitats while giving guests a unique perspective on primate behavior and ecology.
