Stingray Cove

Stingray Cove is an interactive touch pool where guests can feed and gently touch southern stingrays and cownose rays in a shallow saltwater environment. Staff members guide the experience and teach visitors about ray biology and ocean ecosystems.

Stingrays are among the most graceful swimmers in the ocean, using their flat, wing-like bodies to glide through water. Despite their barbed tails, they are gentle animals that pose little threat to humans. This exhibit helps visitors overcome common fears about rays.
