Florida Wetlands

The Florida Wetlands exhibit features Florida panthers, Florida black bears, and native wading birds in recreated cypress swamp and pine flatwood habitats. The exhibit educates visitors about the Everglades ecosystem and the threats facing Florida's most endangered native species.

Fewer than 200 Florida panthers remain in the wild, making them one of the most endangered mammals in North America. Palm Beach Zoo supports panther conservation through breeding programs and habitat advocacy.
