PPG Aquarium

The PPG Aquarium is a 45,000-square-foot marine complex housing sharks, sea otters, penguins, and a two-story living coral reef tank. The aquarium features underwater tunnels, touch pools, and over 70 individual exhibits showcasing freshwater and marine ecosystems from around the world.

Sea otters are a keystone species whose presence is critical to the health of kelp forest ecosystems. The PPG Aquarium's sea otter exhibit educates visitors about the interconnected nature of marine ecosystems and the outsized role individual species can play.
