Dangerous Reef

Dangerous Reef is the aquarium's signature exhibit — a massive shark tank with a gliding underwater tunnel where visitors ride a moving walkway beneath sand tiger sharks, nurse sharks, green sea turtles, and giant stingrays. The immersive experience creates a powerful sense of being on the ocean floor among apex predators.

Sand tiger sharks are the most commonly exhibited large shark species in aquariums, valued for their impressive size and relatively docile temperament. Despite their fearsome appearance, they are not aggressive toward humans. Overfishing has significantly reduced wild populations, and they are listed as Vulnerable globally.
