Living Gallery

The Living Gallery features jellyfish, seahorses, and other delicate marine species in beautifully illuminated displays. Moon jellyfish pulse hypnotically in cylindrical tanks, while seahorses cling to seagrass in meticulously maintained micro-habitats that highlight the fragility and beauty of these unique marine animals.

Seahorses are among the most unusual fish in the sea — males carry and give birth to young, they swim upright, and they can change color to match their surroundings. Many species are threatened by habitat loss, overcollection, and bycatch, making aquarium conservation and breeding programs increasingly important.
