Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin is a state-of-the-art exhibit housing a colony of gentoo, rockhopper, Adélie, and king penguins in a climate-controlled Antarctic environment. Guests experience sub-freezing temperatures as they observe penguins swimming, diving, and socializing.

Many penguin species face growing threats from climate change, overfishing, and habitat disruption. SeaWorld's penguin breeding programs have produced hundreds of chicks, contributing to healthy captive populations and advancing penguin husbandry knowledge.
