Theater of the Sea is the second-oldest marine mammal park in the world, operating continuously since 1946 in the heart of the Florida Keys at Islamorada. The park features dolphins, sea lions, tropical fish, sea turtles, and alligators in a lush, natural tropical setting carved from an old quarry filled with ocean water.

Theater of the Sea offers hands-on dolphin and sea lion encounter programs in intimate, small-group settings. The facility’s natural lagoon habitats are filled by tidal ocean water, providing a constantly refreshed saltwater environment for the animals.

Theater of the Sea holds AMMPA accreditation and is a beloved Florida Keys institution with nearly eight decades of operation.
