Tropical Reef Lagoon

The Tropical Reef Lagoon is a natural ocean-water snorkeling area where guests can swim among tropical fish, sea turtles, and stingrays in a coral rock lagoon. The exhibit showcases the marine biodiversity of the Florida Keys reef ecosystem.

The Florida Keys reef tract is the third-largest barrier reef system in the world and is home to thousands of marine species. Theater of the Sea uses this exhibit to educate visitors about reef conservation and the importance of protecting these fragile ecosystems.
