Zoosiana

Zoosiana — formerly known as the Zoo of Acadiana — is a community-focused zoo in Broussard, Louisiana, in the heart of Cajun Country. The facility features a mix of exotic and domestic animals with a strong emphasis on Louisiana wildlife education and Cajun cultural heritage, making it a unique regional attraction.

The zoo offers animal encounters, educational outreach programs, and seasonal events that celebrate the culture and natural history of Acadiana. Exhibits include Bayou Country showcasing native Louisiana wildlife, a Safari Zone with African and Asian animals, and Gator Swamp highlighting the region’s iconic reptiles.

Zoosiana holds ZAA accreditation and serves as the primary wildlife education facility for the Acadiana region of southwest Louisiana.
